Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a veterinary surgeon to complete my passport application form?

Yes. A Veterinary Surgeon must microchip the horse (or verify the existence of a microchip implanted previously) and complete the silhouette to a high standard.

The completion of the silhouette is mandatory and must be completed to a high standard on a current application form to allow positive identification of the animal in the result of failure of the microchip or the absence of a microchip scanner.
